FRIDAY'S NOTES
LEBANON, Tenn. — Nashville's combined practice charts placed Richard Antinucci ninth with a best lap clocked at 26.4347, which translates in an average speed of 177.040mph. Unfortunately the afternoon qualifying --based on the quickest cumulative 2-lap time-- did not let the Firestone Indy Lights points leader confirm or improve his morning result. The #7 Lucas Oil Dallara Cars took the track as fifth in the order, and Antinucci's 53.0490, which at the time was the 3rd fastest attempt, did not let him reside in the Top 3 for long as eleven other drivers moved past the Italian-American. Sam Schmidt Motorsports pair James Davison and Ana Beatriz sweeped the front row for today's race at the 1.33 mile Tennessee oval.
